why i built this
My life has always revolved around sports — from playing elite travel basketball, to competing at St. Thomas, to marrying a former Gopher basketball player. But professionally, I’ve spent over a decade in technology — including 10 years at Oracle in strategic enterprise sales, plus earlier roles at Apple, Microsoft, and a custom software development firm.
I’ve seen firsthand how great technology can alter the horizon for a company — driving new revenue, improving efficiency, and unlocking entirely new customer behaviors. And when I looked at the world of NIL, one thing was clear: a massive opportunity is being missed.
Micro-donations — the emotional, in-the-moment kind of support fans are most likely to give — aren’t being captured where passion peaks: in stadiums, bars, restaurants, tailgates, and fan spaces.
